And I say that in the best way possible. The plot twist was so nice because up to chapter 4 we weren't even given the opportunity to doubt the uke. And it is not like he was lying or making up stories to become an unreliable narrator, he simply was not in the right state of mind. His brain couldn't handle all that trauma and resorted to forgetting everything, thus making such an interesting story with having the uke think he has been kidnapped by a phycopath.
And with what we are shown the seme is truly a green flag!!!
Although I would have loved if it was longer,aybe I don't know a continuation of those two interacting while they are both with a shame mind, but still a very great read, I would recommend this to anyone.
Also I love the detail that up till he remembered everything, so up to chapter 4, the ukes appearance is of him as a 20 year old, because that's what he remembers, while his scar is shown only when he truly remembers everything and in chapter 5 where the narrator is the seme.
It's so short and sweet, it is a great reread!!!

I started reading it because of the author's previous work with was so cute and nice and most of all had NO RAPE.
So imagine my surprise when I started reading this and not only is it RAPE, it involves imprisonment and for a stupid reason such as the mafia bosses daughter was his customer and she is missing. Like I get looking everywhere she went and trying to find where she is, but not every person she interacted with would be guilty so why should he know where she is????
Sure I have read a lot of bl, quite a few unfortunately had rape in them but I expected better from this author....

Don't get me wrong it's not like I am an expert in pregnancies or anything, but Luis is 4+ months pregnant. Even if it wasn't big, just a little baby bump should have shown. Instead he is drawn as if he is on a diet. No bump at all.

Okay so classically like almost, if not everyone here I have read all of the comment and spoilers you guys have given in the spoilers, but I just don't get it. 90% of the comments are about how horrible the ML is and that his actions are unforgivable and such. I usually don't comment even if I disagree with an opinion but I cannot take it anymore, I feel depressed everytime I read the comments. Like why don't you like him - and if the reason for not liking him is that he abandoned the FL, didn't do anything for the fact that her son grew apart from her etc, don't answer that cause I already read the comments to know what he has done - , he really isn't the worst ML in the history of ML where the FL reincarnates or goes back in time. In fact I find him a decent one, not the best most lovable but not the worst. I honestly, my opinion only, find him somewhat likeble, like I don't crush over him but I don't hate him, I think he is a good ML who tries to atones for his mistakes and he doesn't just magically seen his wife in a new light and is like wow I love, neither does he think oohh the FL is like that, I an gonna show her how good of a husband I am. No he sees her as an equal -as much of an equal is possible for the time period-, does his best to help her establis her role of the duchess to the other people who look down on her but no so much as if he does everything for her, rather help her build their confidence and overcoming her fears - of course not in an too obvious way-. So my point of view is that we shouldn't be hating so much on the characters or be like "I only like Elle, everyone else is trash let's kill them" or "I hate he Ml he is trash" cause really it just tries to show us that they are people who sin and make mistakes and them try to fix them. We shouldn't expect some perfect people with awesome personalities. After all it only has 20 chapters, there are way to little to say oohh he is bad.
I want to thank anyone who will sit and reads everything I just wrote, sorry if it is too long, I just feel frustrated about many things right now - not only the comments - and needed to vent somewhere.

She wasn't sane enough to take care of Elle in the past and the ML did what was logical he took Elle and gave him to people that could. Even if that made the FL condition worst, I believe it was a logical decision taking the child's well-being in mind. So what happened it the end, rather that saying it was the ML fault, he is a horrible person etc., we should realise that it was a case of necessity at the time and the result of some wrong actions, not of bad people
Oohh honey no, I dropped it way too early, probably because I realized that no matter how big or a harem she builds in the second timeline, she would still end up with the prince and I really didn't like that neither did I want to get second male lead syndrome.

Okay I get that every person that spends a few hours with our bakarina, gets bewitched and becomes part of her 1000 something harem, but am I the only one that wants her to end up with her fiance prince Gerald. No hate on other ships or anything but that girl gotta wake up, see she has a whole harem of men and women and choose someone or nobody. I mean I'm a sucker for the ship Katarina x Gerald. I love Athy's behaviour through all this season up till now, how she stepped up instead of being a crying princess who doesn't want any responsibility, especially in this chapter it shows how great of a character she has. This season till now has been a roller coaster of emotions but I have to admit, I just can't stand it, every time I see Anastasious and Jennette I just want to get in there and smash some sense into them for completely different reasons.
In general I love this season and at the same time I can't stand it at all, it frustrates me. Every time I say to myself to drop it for a little bit, let a bunch of new chapters be uploaded and when the story gets a little less dark come back. And then I see a notification for a new chapter so here I am wishing that even though Ms. White is brainwashed despite everything when he gets free from the spell he goes back to his senses mostly because he scares me at the state he is in. Waiting for Claude to wake up cause I don't know how I react if he doesn't. Hoping Janette stops being so so naive cause that is the only thing that makes her so annoying, because I don't hate her but right now I can't stand her. Feeling sorry for Anastasious because of his messed up childhood, but ultimately wanted him to stop being the villain. Despite liking Ms. White son( I know his name but I can't spell it) I want his to step up his game because not doing anything got us here. I want Lucas and Athy together so much and last and more important my ship Lily and Felix to be together for ever and I will be happy.
If anyone got this far in my text I upload you, I don't know if anyone understood my point, I guess I can't express myself to well about this but, this story brings out so many emotions for me. At this point I am convinced spoon loves to see her fans tortured.
Okay where is the new chapter, why is it late, leaving us in a cliffhanger, do they want to kill us bringing in a bitch huging someone else's husband. I waited one week just to see what happens and no new chapter, is it in hiatus. Does anybody know something, I'm dying here
Like as many people mention it's a bad story. The premise of it is interesting with having a police officer and a criminal fall on love or in this case being a destined pair but it becomes very bad very soon. And I don't mean this only for this story but the trope in general is a very difficult trope to write properly for it not to fail.
But let's not ignore the elephant in the room which is the RAPE. It is used so much in omegaverse that many people even expect it when they start reading a omegaverse bl. The recipe is done again and again that now it is a cliche. Like many other stories the seme despite raping the uke and feeling no remorse since he is an Alfa and that means "superior" and bla bla bla, is actually a very "green flag" for lack of a better world to the uke and we all collectively along with the uke look past the rape and forgive the seme. The uke falls in love and they become a pair bla bla bla.... It is so obvious what will happen that at this point it's just disappointing.
If I have to take a guess it will end either with the uke quitting because being with the seme is enough for him etc. or with them both somehow maintaining their jobs while being together, which I find unlikely because the way the story is right now I don't see that as a ending that can feel natural. It is not the first time the ending where the Omega sub comes to being an omega and becomes a pair with the Alfa as in being inferior to him, and that is more important than his job or dreams and it will not be the last.
At this point it's just wrongfully accepting bad writing by the collective fandom.
