IM KICKING AND SCREAMING AAAAAHHHH
MY HEARTTTTTT THEY KISSSED

Idk man, I kinda like how warm and gentle it is. I think the author (I read the novel) and the artist did a good job portraying that warm tingly feelings of 2 puzzle pieces finally falling into place. It fits their childhood friends to lovers story and it's certainly cute, warm and cozy and soooo refreshing after the intense crazy of the last few chapters.Hahahaha plus they're teens in love, with an added bonus of Tia still being hesitant on pursuing their relationship. They cant just go all out with a make out session right of the bat. As much as Perez obviously wants too, but he's respectful and still cares about Tia's boundaries.
Althoughhhh.... I can kind of understand where you're coming from??? We've been waiting for them to FINALLY act on their feelings...
But unfortunately....MINOR SPOILER !! We still have such a long way to go before they're gonna confirm that they together together.
It's gonna be a really slowburn. But rest assured Perez is officially courting Tia now. With a lil bit of miscommunication cause yknow teenagers.

I keep rereading their hug
And like delulu in me can just imagine the relief and how much they're desperately clinging to each other. Tia just trying to bury herself deeper into the warm embrace. Perez probably couldn't help but kiss her tears away. (he kissed her forehead once and I can't help but think he's be kissing her face all over in relief.)
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my heart!!!!!

Honestly my favorite thing about this is she is HEALTHILY LOSING THE WEIGHT.
No crash diets, does have cheat days, seen exercising. the author/artist are also taking their time to gradually draw her slimming down. It feels like the slim figure reveal we saw in the beginning feels earned and THE perfect revenge.
Jokes aside. I just wanna point out a lil cute detail I noticed, cause I was rereading from chapter 20. , the more the Prince "antagonizes" her to debauchery the more she adopts his colors (and vice versa). She wears pastel yellow dresses that matches his hair. While he wears black to match her hair. And I'd like to think that despite her inner turmoil, she's slowly awakening (more like surrendering) to him. Hahaha
It's also pretty fascinating cause in the beginning, she wears mostly very light pastels,,, almost white dresses (cause she's pure and vanilla) and while he's introduced through the narrative in all black (wink wink). And when they first meet each other, they're both in white but the black accents of the Prince's clothes (the collar of his shirt, the cuffs of his sleeves) hint at his deviant darker tastes and hidden agenda.
Aaaahhh love it when author and artists are intentional like that.
But also this is just a color theory. Hahahahah
