What did that china boy put in? (The wine that siwon drank) i mean, moving siwon to china, waking up in a mysterious place.... how much did it take to wake up!?

The plot is super stupid by itself, but just on that aspect... you can drug someone once and then mantain them asleep just by putting an IV or something, so it's not that far-fetched
(I mean more than your usual psycho kidnapping jealous I miss the bae I rejected because I'm stupid let's swim thingy)

To lose consciousness like that could be achieved with a medically induced coma, but such a procedure requires a lot of medical supervision and is hardly risk free. Siwon would not have been in any state to fly to China, then eat BBQ and have a spot of BDSM a day after waking up. Even if he were to have been spiked with rohypnol, or something similar, which is awful enough, his behaviour wouldn't have been how it was described in that chapter. The whole webtoon is pretty ridiculous and is treating some pretty serious topics like domestic abuse, or recently Siwon being drugged so lightly and unrealistically.

That’s one of the stupidest comments I’ve seen here lol. YAOI itself is BS and nothing is realistic. A Man Like You is the closest webtoon to reality yet it’s easily the most hated webtoon. The characters react how normal people would (no one can say “I’d act differently” because in these situations there are no other choices) and though it’s stupid nothing is sugar coated here.
Look at Killing Stalking, if that story was real the seme would have been already sent to hell by society but people still think it’s sexy and addicting AF.
Love Is An Illusion has a seme that rapes and impregnates someone who wanted neither (omegaverse in general is fucked up but rape is always justified in omegaverse because “there’s love between the Alpha and Omega) takes the person hostage and keeps them there against their will. We could argue it’s for his best interest but in reality the uke would be in a mental institution.
Ha Kyung-Soo's Gentle Touch seme is a rapist, sadist, and overall pyscho.
Super Lovers has a pedophile.
There is no justification for all the above to be allowed in the real world but when there’s super hot sex and some love aspect it’s ok in yaoi.
So don’t bullshit that A Man Like You is unrealistic because frankly it’s the most realistic webtoon it just doesn’t have those hot yaoi scenes to divert our attention from whether or not it is real or not. If you want to bitch that it’s treating things unrealistically and not seriously then do it to webtoons that are more heinous and grotesque because A Man Like You is the closest to real webtoon out there, love and sex doesn’t justify what we would call crimes in the real world, and a A Guy Like You doesn’t sugarcoat it’s flaws with love and sex like all the popular webtoons do.

You seem to think people are complaining simply because the Chinese guy was abusive? The issue is with how unrealistic the dynamic of the relationships are presented, and mostly Siwon's behaviour as has been discussed to death in far greater detail already. In 'An easy target" and "Killing Stalking', the content yes shows criminal ans abusive acts, but there is context and explanation for this, and the emotional response from all of those involved is realistic (be it from the warped perspective of the flawed, and also damaged abuser or their victim). Sorry, but where is the 'love" in this series? Siwon is abusive to Jinha, and the pairing with Siwon and the Chinese guy, yes has a lot of lust on Siwon's part, but the Chinese guy is simply with him in order to hurt Jinha.

Not really but I really don’t like when people complain or mention that anything yaoi isn’t “real”. It’s not supposed to be real, yaoi is all fantasy and nothing is supposed to make logical sense because yaoi is fantasy.
I think I’m just mentally fired up from reading the latest chapter and sending that rage on you, and for that I apologize. But still, even though I don’t like the manhwa I still think it’s the most real I’ve read. I love yaoi but I don’t try to connect it to reality because I know it’s far from it >.<

"nothing is supposed to make logical sense" .... I'm sorry to jump in but what the hell? Why read anything that doesn't even make logical sense? If that was the case chapters didn't need to be in order, character could show up and disappear without any explanation ... Of course even in fantasy, at least some logical sense the plot has to make otherwise we could just read a story made up by a 4 year old. Just because it's fiction it doesn't mean it can have at least traces of realism --- some like their yaoi resembling relatable life.
A good story, fantasy or not is supposed to make some sense otherwise it's just drawings in a page that could be talking gibberish and would make no difference.

IKR. From what it seems like, the recent plot would have worked better if it were just one panel drawings in a fan service art book. One page could be Chinese guy doing his dancing, next he is in his fancy house back home with his captive soon to be husband enjoying a pre-honeymoon BBQ, next Siwon is being a greetin' wee lamb, next Siwon is whingeing at Jinha over nothing and so on.... Rather than all of these "extra" events being added to the plot with little thought to the pace and logic of it. You know when artists sometimes in "extra" pages draw characters in chibi form acting like brats, well it seems to have been a full series of Siwon acting in such an unrealistic manner (either for his age or background, given that he, when it suits him can be a determined, and mentally capable adult).
Im so glad that im from korea(⌒▽⌒)
