What's wrong with the age gap? They aren't physical and ppl grow older. They won't be 16 and 26 forever. When the artist is 18 and the fan is 28 it's still a 10 year age gap. There's nothing wrong with them having a platonic relationship for now. My parents were 10 years apart, and they were good/ mature about it.
