Summary:
A princess saves a mermaid when she gets injured. The princess takes care of the mermaid for a while and when the day of the princess’s marriage approaches, the mermaid takes her away.

The mermaid wanted the princess all to herself, it was a “if i can’t have you, no one can” type of situation i’m pretty sure. i read this a while ago so my memory is a bit foggy.
