When she said “should I not have fallen in love?” It made me cry. Everybody deserves to fall in love and feel a belonging in society. Love is such a beautiful thing. It perseveres.
That’s how I understood it anyways, you can think it’s a mockery, or you can appreciate a story that relays the struggles of lgbtq+ in a different light that non-queer people can understand.
