to be fair, it’s alluded to that seimei’s actually stupidly smart pretty often, but the mangaka does a hilariously good job at redirecting our attention with seimei’s gag personality and optimism. when his soul got split up, the intelligence portion was genuinely cracked, but didn’t have access to information and that’s the only reason he got caught. for how airheaded seimei seems, it makes it really easy to ignore how he’s usually the brains of the operations in most cases.
The ending to this chapter makes me feel extremely conflicted. One side is an unaware innocent child and the other is a person whos past and present is built on lie after lie. It may seem like a heartwarming moment for baby hee jae but I can't help but feel guilty at the same time. You can't do this to me. Why is this child so cute. N e ways am a big fan of the parallels between aona n kuros characters. Aona is the whimsy fantastical outer space guy while kuro is the very down to earth deep sea guy. I love them both very much n if anything bad happens to them from now on am killing everyone here n then myself.
