no. it was valid criticism. this author has written the same plot point before, people are pointing out the lack of creativity and redundancy in their work... its not rude

another popular BL author tried to sue a couple years ago, threatened the website owner directly, & nothing happened. like I said, the fact that this manhwa is on an illegal site doesn't mean readers can't criticize it for its shit plot. there's no rule that dictates that. they didnt even say they hated it, just that the way its going is a copy & paste from their previous work. y'all r something man

Bottoms look similar, barely have two changes of clothes, even live similar housing and have loan sharks on their asses. Plus they’re both college smart. Tops are tall af, built like fridges with dark hair, fuck around a lot, in similar living arrangements, rich af and started by not wanting a real relationship but just sex. Here we don’t have a sick family member depending on the bottom but there’s a dad, and the top isn’t physically abusive but where’s the bar really… tell me what’s not even true lol

I mean in that the mc’s and ml’s in both stories have completely different personalities. Yeomin and Dan are night and day when you compare their personalities to each other (Dan being a mope who’s always going through it, while Yeomin is cheery and bubbly despite life kicking him down with debt and other bs), and Taeso and Jaekyung are in two entirely different leagues, with Taeso being just a player who doesn’t know what love is while Jaekyung is hyper aggressive, controlling, and quick to anger.

Like yeah, there’s similarities in the physical appearance of the characters but to me, that’s where the comparisons that can be made end. Like in this story, there isn’t any ‘the ml has financial control over the mc’ type situation (as far as I know, I’ve only read this story on this site), there isn’t any ‘mc hates the sex at first but then likes it later’, and the characters development is moving along a lot faster too than in Jinx. That’s why I disagreed with Sun’s initial comment.
