This martial arts guy starting make me think maybe he ain't gonna be evil, but the Nazi earrings are throwing me off
Of course you have to put it aside lol. The swastika symbol (means well being) has been there for centuries before the world war even happened. The character is a well known martial artist with Chinese origin. Monks all over still use this symbol, its not some subliminal message supporting n4zis. You just had to correlate it that way instead
Right right, I suppose the most important thing here is the fact that the character has ties to Buddhism & china, and it would be unfair to ignore the symbol's prevalence in that area. While I don't think the swastikas status as a face of the N4zi regime can be disregarded, I understand that that isn't what's most relevant in this context. Thank you for the info
No problem! And you're right. As the symbol's popularised in a negative way in recent history, it can't be helped that there's gonna be some misunderstanding in the case of any reader who doesn't know the history that goes beyond world war and that the swastika was appropriated by n4zis,,, glad to be of help tho, happy readinggg
Everyone complaining about the ending but I feel pretty confident this wasn't the way it was "supposed" to end. There was probably some issue with serialization so they had to wrap it up in like 10 chapters while tryna cover at least the main plot that would have been explored.
It's a disappointing reality, however I'm glad it happened like this rather than it cut off right before the rush started, which was literally the lowest point for our main characters. Would have been much worse imo
Anyone got some recs that are similar to this romance plot?
