I felt his pain so personally. Well I still feel it. Circumstances are different, but the only denominating factor of a lonely person is the emptiness that accompanies them. I feel like this story has taught me so much about myself, not because I didn't know, but simply didn't want to recognize it. Even now i dont know whether to cry or to simply exist. Its so difficult, but I'm glad he has found a sliver of wholeness within himself even if it meant loving someone else to do it. Ik everyone says love yourself or find contentment within, but that's so unrealistic on so many levels, the primary being some people, like myself, find meaning in others for themself which isnt reliance so much as it is purpose. And if thats someone's reason to keep living and try then that should be enough for the onlookers we never asked for. I hope he finds his peace regardless of what form it comes in

To clarify, Rafi thinks Maria was killed (essentially from juxtaposition) and didn't commit suicide. But in whatever case of which, he wants to check on this himself as her older twin brother. I'm not clear why they didn't spend much time together, but regardless he's baffled as to why the King (who I'm sure suspects him to be a man with his gay intuition) is willing to check on him, despite not showing interest in Maria. He's contemplating whether she actually did kill herself from witnessing the Kings rare warmth, or its all a facade. Personally, I think she was killed, but also that the king doesn't pay attention to the women not just cause he's obviously gay, but out of spite of his mother not to lead the queens on. His mom seems to be banking on an heir, probably because the king himself is only a halfblooded royal, which leads me to believe she couldn't habe children herself so her husband acquired a cocubine OR, she herself is the acquired concubine so it ensures their lineage. Gotta remember that any royals prior to we'll say the 19th century were more concerned about a legacy than their old age half the time. That being said, the King is probably indirectly protecting these consorts in a way by not forcing them to bear an heir. It's quite convoluted of a story but interesting in the mystery

I have so many theories swirling in my head but none make phonetic sense if i take certain earlier points of the story into account. I thought AU at first, but because of the oldest bastard cunty bitch I think either a time rewind, but Sejin baby bro also makes me think that he wasn't originally engaged to Ido but the assaulting cunt and lost his memories to get reengaged. But then how would Ido know him so well unless they had a secret relationship, and if so, why should Minjae be so spiteful? Rather than getting clarification, the more I read the more questions I have. It's the equivalent to if every chapter started with why
Okay so I love the story, pace, development, etc but im just hella condused why only Ido remembers that AU and not Sejin. I understand this type plot is relatively new/popular right now and honestly rare in webcomics still (in my opinion basrd on the hundreds I've read/reading), but for that very reason I find it hard to figure out cause every story I've read similar takes a unique angle to it. Even Brothers Without a Tomorrow's new story has (not exactly the same) similar concepts. Deadman Switch and Jouki's too but they die in them, which has me thinking Sejin died at some point. Idk but I'm really liking the soft love and easing into true romance nonetheless.
