I really liked the ML and MC to begin with. They had so much depth and personal problems they were dealing with. There was also that dream the MC had earlier on which could have been childhood trauma that could have been explored. Also the ML was hiding his true self and this could have also been explored more. Plus the ML actually having that last character development to turn him into a good guy. Instead we got the most toxic ML as soon as the long distant realtionship was introduced and things got 100% worse. The MC turned into a wet blanket that was only into a pretty face so would tolerate any crap chucked at him. I feel like this is blasphamy but as soon as the smut scenes were introduced everything went downhill. That became the new focus. Everything else good got pushed to the side. I also like the friends too but they vanished. Well from timeskip to ch 48 they did. I couldn't push through anymore.

I read this in one sitting and it was so good. At first the start was confusing with what I think is references to different time lines going on. You are trying to figure out what is true and what isn't. So far I think what is refered to as the book Silence is the past life and we are getting more and more added to the story to flesh it out. There is so much drama and tragedy that happens but I sm here for it. The art is beautiful- hope S2 will be just as good.
