But really Kaito what a dick move ! kinda hated him for putting the blame on Nagisa back then like that was really freakin harsh. He definitely should have apologized for it more.
Yes I think this is what it’s lacking! There’s plenty of angst but not enough for such a strong theme imo. Even though they were kids, and it’s normal (but not ok!) to say awful things without knowing the repercussions, I feel like as an adult Kaito should have apologized more, because that alone made Nagisa suffer all this time, making sex all about pain and punishment because he already felt guilty for his friend’s death. He didn’t need more salt in the wound ╥﹏╥
A wedding but not a marriage? I’m confused. Does he want like a “way out”? Did he have a traumatic childhood with his parents? I hope he explains that in the next chapter.
But like even if he does have a backstory, does he not see a forever with Shishikura?

I don't really remember it well because I dont want to reread it its a personal issue though because I love angst but only if the ending is satisfying in a way that everyone got what they deserve.
So what I remember (its a spoiler btw)…
I felt like uke just settled with seme
I mean authornim made a point in the end that uke actually cared for seme but it felt forced to me. I felt like Hakdo would have chosen his bestfriend if given the chance and that didn’t sit right with me because seme was actually a good guy and been through a lot too (his own ex was a douchebag)
But I do remember that art was great (specially the seggs scenes ) and dialogues were kinda funny too

I was just thinking that as they were growing older, Katou was becoming more and more reliable and quite the opposite for Iwaki.
Just for a playboy and Katou’s unserious personality, I was expecting him to be the one to make past mistakes like its so shocking for it to be Iwaki.
Also damn authornim! I seriously nooo Katou I cried.
Only things I’m unsatisfied with are:
1. Really Iwaki taught Yousuke “that”? If Katou knew it would have been a fight.
2. Katou not seeing the cherry blossoms bloom on the porch.
I preferred Tae and Dewey’s story.

It was so good when uke felt love simply by talking and eating food together. That he can “compensate” not through sex but like say washing the dishes per se. Til seme had to kiss and eventually had sex with him. Ruined it.
Would have been better if he just hugged him to sleep because he was that kind of safe space.
