Why are people always stealing other scan teams manhwas/mangas??? Like if you knew someone is already putting all this work into why would you go ahead and waste there time??? If you took all this time to prepare a chapter, then you 100% understand the amount of work and effort that it takes. But you still don’t care about the original scan teams feelings, effort and time! And idk if it’s cause you want admiration from strangers on the internet thanking you or what. But whatever the reason is, I’m sick of it. Just be respectful ffs.
Second of all, I’ve noticed recently that ppl are afraid to give criticism cause they’re afraid that the translator/scan team is gonna be reactionary. (Which I’m starting to get real annoyed of too. But that’s a conversation for another day.) If the translations bad, or it has bad quality or something else you displease; you should feel free to say it without 100 people calling you an “ungrateful bitch” because of it. Also to the ppl attacking criticism, get a life. It’s BL not the end of the world. Being rude to ppl on internet isn’t gonna make them change there minds, all it’s gonna do is create a toxic environment where ppl feel like they can’t say anything.

I really don’t have anything to ask of you, but you all need to state an apology. Asking people for money on a work that isn’t you is not okay whatsoever. Furthermore, saying that people are being “rude” for calling you out and giving half a chapter as some sort of punishment is beyond childish. What you did was wrong, and instead of being defensive, you need to own up and accept it. And last of all, you guys need to take down your site if you haven’t already. That’s pretty much all I have to say. Just be better then this.
Idk if u only see the words u want to see or just. The only thing we did wrong is that we didn't search well enough for the official translation. Like we stated in the note, we would never translate something that is already being translated, bc that's just plain stupid. We DID NOT ASK ANYONE FOR MONEY( did u pay anything to read ch. 22?) we are a normal scans team, we upload one chapter every week and we still do the job so u could read for free, so we put up the chapter which people can buy, if they want to support us or can't wait for the next upload on mangago.(ofc we would not have done that or translated this manhwa at all, if we knew that it had an official translation)
About the half of the chapter, I see u can't read in english and can only type, bc we literally stated that we could not upload just a note(mangago doesn't let that) so we had to upload at least a little bit of an acuall ch.
1) You were asking for money. You linked a site that’s sole purpose was to ask you for money. You don’t have to directly say “Hey, I want your money for this thing” to imply that your asking for it. When you go to a grocery store and see an apple with a sticker that says “$0.99,” you know that store is asking you for money in exchange for that product without management having to tell you directly.
Which is exactly what you did when you sold early translations for €5. That right there was a littler financial transaction of goods and services. And your telling me you didn’t ask for money? You did when you told ppl they could get a chapter in exchange for money. That right there is asking for money.
Furthermore, you say that people can “support you if they want.” How exactly do you want them to support you? Clearly not through encouraging words, but with money as you put a link to site to give you money. That right there is asking for money.
2) You can post a single page as a chapter. I’ve seen it done multiple times. Most recently in “Max Mojave’s Case” as the uploader had to explain the situation that was going on with the author.
3) Just apologize and go. You did something wrong, now own up to it and say your sorry. Why all the need to be defensive when you’ve caught red handed? Not to mention, in neither chapters did you ask ppl to support the author. But rather support yourself or to defend yourself in some way. Also, if your not gonna apologize and own up to what you’ve done, please don’t bother responding to me. I don’t want to hear your excuses anymore. I’m sick of it. Just say your sorry and that’s enough.

Chapter 22, page 2. They show the link where you can support them. Also on page 3 and 4, it shows how much to pay them for early chapters.

I haven’t seen any of those scan teams, but you’ should probably call them out on it.
The biggest issue with this is that these scan teams are profiting off of someone else’s work. Rarely do any of the money they make goes back to author. This causes the author to lose money and that’s at a cost of their own livelihood. This is how the author pays their bills and is able to feed themselves. Yet others have the audacity to steal money that should going to them. Not to mention the official translators and people who run these leg.al sites that aren’t getting paid for their work either.
Another reason is that when you support the scan team instead of the author, the comic will start to do badly. When this happens, the comic could be stopped and forced to finish early then expected. Again, causing issues to the authors own livelihood. This is already happening to the author of “Max Mojave’s Case.” While the uploader wasn’t asking for money, not enough people were supporting the author. She is now in a state where if the popularity doesn’t rise she could be forced to end her story earlier then expected. She even come on here to tell us that. Since then the uploader has stoped and the fan base is currently buying all of her chapters and trying to get an official English version so that she can still be able to support herself. {1/2}

Reputable scan teams typically don’t upload onto here. Most of the time, they have discord serv.ers or they upload onto manga.dex (a site that doesn’t collect money) so people can read these comics without causing anymore harm to the author. They also encourage the readers to support the author rather than themselves. Unlike the ones of this scan team who are profiting off of the author’s of their own work. {2/?}
Overall, scan teams asking for monetary funds hurts the author’s livelihood, encourages readers to give them money rather then the author leading to early endings, and ruins the impact reputable scan teams have been trying make in creating the most possible ethical reading situations. We didn't know that there was an english version, so how could we had asked to support the author? I think that this situation is a big misunderstanding, bc we never wanted to steal for the author(that why we stopped translating, i think this should have made it clear) btw we buy original chapters from bootom(i dont remember the exact name(im not the one who buys them but the other scan member)its an original korean site) so some of the money does go to the author.
