I honestly loved this arc, I get that the manga is about shangri la but these side stuff really is exceptional. Tournaments have always been so boring and overdone to me (I’m looking at you gege, culling game was fucking stupid) but this, this was so amazing. I really couldn’t stop reading. And tbh, i kinda wanted to see some player vs player type stuff

I really don’t want to piss people off and make an ass outta myself but seriously, why do y’all hate on stories like these? I get it, I don’t like the obsessive and creep of a crown prince (I will NOT accept this guy as the ML, yet…) but at the same time, making a story revolving around that trope most likely gets more attention and views, whether it’s from hate or not, views are views. Making a regular vanilla story with societal accepted standard of love (no creeps or strings attached) probably won’t get as much attention as copy paste trash romance with the same trope. I know writing will also account to popularity and copy paste or not, it won’t matter as much. I also get that this site is most likely illegal so viewership or comments won’t matter here and wont affect writers (besides them losing money). I want to offer people the challenge to write their own romance story and see if they could produce a decent story without generic tropes, but I think that wouldn’t be fair and it wouldn’t really help my argument.
People can have their own opinions and share them, I’m fine with that and I totally agree with most people here, but fuck man, give this one some time to grow, who knows, maybe it’ll stay trash idk. I’m not trying to convince people to continue reading this since I also don’t quite like it but shit like “story bland” and “ew, this trope” is wild, even with 2 chapters out. I probably didn’t flesh out my points (or included any at all) but I tried, flame me if y’all want idk.
TL;DR: theres probably a reason why there’s so many shitty, abusive, obsessive ML, it creates money and attention (or maybe it’s from the authors own sick twisted mind). Why not just give it some time to develop, maybe come back later or not, just don’t hate too hard and too early
chap 16 was funny, i understand MCs pain.. starting off with absolutely amazing stories only to find shitty ass copy paste after is painful. Im glad MC is getting accustomed into the real world LOL
Oh its these guys, first time i saw them was on "The Lost Cinderella" and boy was that a top contender for the worst translations ive read. Seems like proof readers are diff, so this isnt AS bad, but def major translation mistakes like "passed away" instead of "passed out" as well as the unnecessary "racism" that wasnt "racism" that was sexism or something idk

Also i agree with the story getting boring, at this point it seems like the author wants to bless the father with ONLY good things/luck as long as his daughter is near. I also feel like her brother had no choice but to ask Ines to beg, he def hates Oscar and himself, but what good comes from disobeying the royal family?
