that thinks Park Wonho is meh for an antagonist? Like he's legit just a spoiled rich kid that became obsessed with Hyunsoo cuz he didn't suck up to him like the others. Like I get his role is to create some drama, but he should at least be interesting and not the stereotypical, obsessive, sadistic chaebol ( ̄へ ̄)
It is a reminder to reread Skip Beat and fall in love with this story again. Yes, I know it hasn't been updated and has been going on for forever, but it is honestly worth the reread. I like to reread every once in a while and relive my favorite moments while viewing it through a different perspective. It's also nice to be reminded of the growth of the main characters (⌒▽⌒)
I know some people hate this relationship and I as a fellow Taku x Haesoo shipper feel your pain, but I am fine with this. I'm fine with it because Joowon developed as a character and has mellowed out. So he's in a better place to be in a relationship with Haesoo. Also, Haesoo still loved him more than Taku so it wouldn't be fair to Taku if they remained together with Haesoo longing for Joowon. I'd rather Taku be off and happy with someone else than be in that state. So feel free to be mad because I understand it's not the ship we wanted but storywise it makes sense.
It felt a little disjointed in some parts. Like I got the general story but some things either felt rushed or missing. I also wanted to see more ginger and rum as well as mono with lego ( ̄へ ̄)
that’s cuz the author wrote the second season for the SidemainCouple, plus some background stories of other characters.
If you read the epilogue then u know that the author didn’t really plan season 2, they just went with the flow Uk?? If the author wrote about Ginger and Rum for season 2 I don’t think the plot would have been strong, but ngl I really did wanna see more of Ginger and Rum :’)
I seriously don't understand how this story has such a high rating. It's literally trying using a bunch of tropes and barely weaving them into a coherent story. Not the worst BL I've ever read, but definitely close to the bottom.
I can see your viewpoint in how, by trying to incorporate multiple tropes, each trope is left feeling incomplete. However, even though it's exploration isn't in depth, it depicts a beautiful sense of love in its truest form. A completely raw and selfish love (in the right way) that may people yearn for because it's so hard to find in reality which is why I think it's rated so highly
Well said. It's not about what happens, it's about how real the feelings are and how beautiful being vulnerable can be when it's with someone who treats you right.
I love this story and personally think it is beautifully executed.
In my opinion, is more pointing out how absolutely toxic most yaoi stories are and how a proper relationship should look. It's a commentary on how we as people often tend to mistake accuse as love just because it makes us feel needed. This story is more about how you feel in the end and the beauty of being vulnerable with the right person than about the actual plot.
At the very least, I think my response is how others also feel who like me, have this story 5 stars.
