EGGNOIDS
Eggnoids are born or appear to people who are in need of company. Their main objective is to accompany and make that person achieve happiness. Also, their image depends on what that certain person needs. In the case of the Professor and his wife, they needed a child, thus taking the form of a young girl. While for Ran, she needed a friend, thus taking the image of a teenage boy.
BLUE AND RED GLOW (Confirmed as of Ch62)
Red means that the Eggnoid has broken a rule or has malfunctioned—either disobey his parent or reveal his origin, thus he has to be taken away, while blue means he is ABOUT to break a rule (eg. reveal his origin)

Edited: Eggnoids are not supposed to reveal their own origin. The Profs daughter, glowed red when she was forced to open the Eggpod. It could also be that she turned red bc she disobeyed her fathers request, making him upset. As for Eggy, who emitted blue light, was under hypnosis at that time to retrieve his memories.
RED EYES (Confirmed as of Ch62)
Eggnoids with red eyes are like the policemen in the Eggnoid society. They keep their eyes on Eggnoids who glow blue while they capture those who glow red.

Ran's gradmother did not approve of her mother because she has an unknown background. Also, in the previous chapters, Ran's father said that he was the same as Ran when he was young. Her father was also the studious type. He also mentioned that he was very focused in his studies that he didnt notice how much he has missed, so this is a hint that at some point he became lonely, summoning an Eggnoid.
SILVER HAIRED EGGNOID
The silver haired Eggnoid is one of the "policemen" in the Eggnoid society (refer above: RED EYES).
1. Is he good or bad?
Despite his harsh actions and behavior, I think hes one of the good guys. I think hes one of the trusted Eggnoids with a high position, like a general maybe. There was this one chapter when he found Ran and Eggy alone in the house, he was talking to himself. He said that if the head office will know about Ran's past, they will surely want to take her. So far, he was just observing Ran's house, so other than the reason on taking an eye on Eggy who turned blue, maybe he is also trying to protect Ran who is entrusted to him by her mother. BUT THEN, it could be selfish reason why hes protecting Ran. Maybe on the process of capturing Ran's mother, he screwed up. So maybe he doesnt want to he found out. But when he was talking, the tone was more of the concern towards ran, not to himself.
PRENT'S DEATH
I think Diany was one of the reasons why Ran's mom died. In chapter 26, Diany was very guilty and even blamed herself that she was the cause that Rans mother died. Maybe she was also like the Prof, she forced or convinced Rans mother to open the eggpod and interrogated her about her origin.

I find the story of Tua and Pele more painful. Everytime their shone together, my heart throbs. Especially when Tua said that he wants Pele in his story, my heart ached so much that I cried for them.
