Hmm good question. I personally think it's not necessarily the act of reading bl but the manner and mindset with which you'd read bl. When a fujo reads BL, they are reading about a demographic that is not them, which is great if done well, harmful if not. And more often it's the latter. I kinda understand. As a native english speaker we never were strict in levels of language. But when I went to korea and was speaking in korean, I usually had to check whether I was talking okay towards my professors, or to strangers. Plus there are body language things too (hand stuff to elders with both hands). I assure you tho, english speakers......   reply

Yes, this is illegal. Are we likely to get in jail or sued for it tho? Not exactly. If any, it would be the owners of the site first, the ones who upload here second but there's too many of them/us here, that it would cost unreasonably too much for anyone to go after every single one of us. Yes, I do think knowing Japanese or Chinese before learning Korean helps, in 4 aspects: 1. Vocabulary. A lot of the words sound the same so being proficient in JP/CN is like having a huge chunk of the vocabulary already downloaded into you. So I know there are a lot answers to this already, but I want to say some things for the sake of people who could be reading and need it: Technically yes, in most countries it is illegal for minors to touch anything rated (that's why they are rated).
