For every time a main character has barked at an enemy, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but weird that it happened twice.. (I’m thinking about laios)

Why does it look like a deformed horse tho? Actually what deforms a ghost? Michiru's dad and the cats look normal in their ghost form
so my theory is that its because francios died so long ago. if he died when mikos mama was in highschool hed be dead probably at least 30 years, maybe up to 50. even though he looks like that we already know hes a protective spirit too. there is one flaw here though and thats the chapter with the old man in the hospital. his wife and child were waiting for him in the afterlife for much longer. maybe it has to do with intelligence or location, since the hospital was a "hot spot". could also have to do with francios obviously eating other spirits.
I like the idea of the more the spirits eat, the more they get deformed. The dog, being the mother's protector, would always eat the bad spirits around her that's why he looks like that
BROOO look at Tora and Tetsuya- look how good they look in their 30s and 40s. I love this end for them and I’m definitely gonna re read their spin off story again.
The art style is so whimsical and I love the main character sm. I wish I had his style (๑❛ᴗ❛๑)

Really wasn’t expecting this to be that good but damn. I was so wrong and I’m actually pretty happy I was wrong lol. The plot twist with the cup, the princess, and the duke father was so well done. I love how the relationships were so complex especially Sophia’s and the princess’s connection. “The bond between women, seems like men can’t even imagine it.”
Shima is so complicated and the way he interacts with other characters is so relatable. His past with his mom is so heartbreaking. It’s really interesting how the way his mother acted/ how he saw his parents treat each other has warped his own views on friendships and relationships. I want to see him happy, either by himself or with main girl :))
