Just finished the anime. The end was so rushed and had nothing to do with how things are going on in the manga,so i m quite disappointed. But i really like the manga!!
I don't think so; they just showed how they met again in a short manner so that they wouldn't have to finish the anime with an annoying parting. Besides, showing them reuniting again after that whole time the same way it was in manga would take too much time and effort and wouldn't be possible without cutting the plot where it started to be most interesting (that would be annoying as well). My take on how it ended is that they made a good call cutting it down to the minimum.
Other than that, the anime was pretty much accurate with the manga. They only decided to cut out one quite important plot line which I like, but totally get why it didn't take place in the anime. It is a very good production.
Hey I also just finished the anime and now I want to read the manga. Is it very different from the anime (so would I have to read everything again)? And in which chapter does the anime end (that part where they seperate)? Thanks in advance!
Definitely go for the manga from the start - the anime is pretty loyal to the story, but as I mentioned before, there is one quite important plot line that they totally skipped in the anime + a couple of relevant scenes as well, so catching up from the point where it ended will only confuse you as heck.
The anime ends around chapters 39/40, but I strongly recommend going from the start.
