i just HAVE to ramble about how well written haikyuu is


"today you are defeated, but what will you be tomorrow?" Is a line that ACTUALLY hits so hard like haikyuu has done so much for fans in general... Like it will forever be peak

i feel like nothing will ever encompass the feeling of being a teenager and having friendships as much as haikyuu does, all the characters are so well fleshed out and written you'd think that they were real and there's this bittersweet feeling that comes with finishing a manga like haikyuu, you don't ever want it to end ╥﹏╥ man it hurts knowing that there will most likely never be another manga that did what haikyuu did

its just that everyone in the manga ended up going their own separate ways and its so nice that everything comes together. Furudate is one of the best authors man

whenever i think of haikyuu there's like a nostalgic feeling about it, like i know that i personally will never have the level of relationships nor dedication to a hobby but when i see it portrayed through characters like hinata it really makes me feel happy. there's also the fact that everyone who read it grew up alongside the characters and when it ended many chose to leave it be. With the new release of battle of the garbage dump i think many have realised that haikyuu is inherently a big reason why many people were so happy when they were into haikyuu whether it be a few months ago or all the way back in 2020

anyways i just wanted to ramble about how haikyuu changed the trajectory of so many people's lives and that it forever will remain as one of the best mangas out there. the story is so heartfelt and it will forever remain in my brain
