I was glad for a moment when Dan explained how he worked and bought the keychain himself so there was no misunderstanding on that part BUT the asshole’s reaction was as expected still the worst. The author is literally dragging their relationship to the very bottom and i think it they are going to have a real hard time of fixing it so that the readers are satisfied.
