It's understandle, he's a pampered and loved spoiled noble. Given his background, he's actually very resilient and hand working. But also naive and overly optimistic. The issue is that the ml is so much older and more accomplished that the different between them stands out and makes the Mc seem even more like a child. I just don't see the chemistry, it was such a forced relationship.
