muku is the eldest daughter who is pressured by her grandmother to forfeit her time in order to take care of her ailing grandfather. went in for the artstyle and childhood friends-to-lovers, stayed for the insanely nuanced family dynamics. i like that this manga gives a lot of depth to muku’s family - they’re clearly normal people that were given a bad hand in life. the drama is wrenched my heart, the art is pretty, and i think the romance is just getting started! 8/10
