So much emotion in those last panels. Dan's situation is so relatable to me. When death is so close, the wait is hell and overthinking takes you to some really dark places. Plus all the hardships he endured in his life. Putting on a smile... Always being kind. Dan's so so fragile and tragic. I'm so sad for the puppy, it was the last string for him. But, I'm actually kind of glad it was JK who found him. It's cliché but it needed to be him. The only one who can help Dan is the damn force of nature that Jaekyung is. He saw the photo in social media or someone show it to him that's for sure. And I hope we see how he reacted or what he was thinking when he was driving there. And what he felt seeing Dan going into the ocean. He must called out to him but with that state of mind, it's obvious Dan's wouldn't hear him.
