Kinda liked what happened here. First, JK knowing first aid and being useful in a postive way after such a long time. He didn't think twice before jumping to the ocean and even used his injured arm to help KD. Second, JK being so surprised to hear KD didn't know what he was doing. He definitely thought KD was suicidal. Third, kudos to JK not shouting his ass off at Dan's rejection. Boy was restraining himself. Still an ass with his so called arguments tho. Fourth, Dan's so depressed and scared not of JK himself but what he represents. Someone who he failed at the most crucial time. Even if everyone knows it wasn't his fault, Dan's guilt is eating him alive and he's runing away. He doesn't expect anything from JK because he feels he confused everything about their relationship.
