you're right it's 2025 the earlier dynamic wont fly with current young people view however this wont be the same black Butler i once read in the past kind of sad (their ship is never going to be real in the first place. their dynamic wasn't weird as hell)

I know it was... in fashion, for called it in some way, to portrait those kind of dymamics in media (very young boy and an "adult" because Seb is a shapeshifting demon) in those times, and that's how it got popular too, but now it's more interesting seeing them as "partners in crime" in my opinion, even if Sebastian might lead to our!Ciel death and get his soul at the end.

The Sebastian x Ciel ship was always fucked up and disgusting, Ciel is a freakin preteen and Sebastian is a demon so he's probably 1,000 years old or something WTF people?! (╬￣皿￣)凸 I hate this ship with a passion, people are gross shipping them together
