art- manga arent creatively constrained to the scroll format like manhwa are. you can have extremely creative paneling in manga. the art itself also tends to be more diverse and stylistic and has more opportunity for crazy detail and compelling and breathtaking art.
plot- there are tropes in both manga and manhwa, but the best stories are found in ......
this author actually sucks, but yall will never admit that...
i dont think the issue here is glorifying sex, its more about how frequent yaoi romanticizes rape and how readers (not all ofc) fetishize gay people.
you can ofc still read your bl, but these things should be acknowledged.
1. Dark Heaven
2. Opium
3. Gaurdians Of The Lamb
4. Slam Dunk
5. Dorohedoro
6. (replacing family with fantasy) Land of the Lustrous
7. Monster
8. Ginatama
9. Goodnight Punpun
10. Golden kamuy
not too bad
for bl: Sasaki to Miyano, given, Doukyuusei, define the relationship, on or off, full volume, killing stalking, walk on water, brothers without a tomorrow in general
for non bl: death note, demon slayer, black clover, spy x family, naruto, all those reincarnation manhwas, all those dungeon/portal manhwas
sometimes its fun to see what ppl are reading
its not even a competition
Am i gay?
most "fluffy stories" are plotless and boring af.
and having not toxic/green flag characters doesnt mean the story is actually good
im so conflicted...
on one hand, hot gorgeous women art, on the other hand the plot is icky
another plotless fluff, im so tired...i need these authors to write actual plot and actual personalities
im not here to read a novel, im here for a good story with good visuals
thats im bi
(and i dont plan to tell them ether)
these people will hate on, but still continue to read toxic stories. They just dont want to seem like weirdos for reading/liking said stories since sa is heavily criticized on this site be it real criticism and perforative criticism
