I’m still not getting why he has to marry a random chick who’s in a relationship of her own. Ge keeps saying it’s to protect Meili. How is getting married going to protect Meili ? The story isn’t really adding up. The story never continues where it ends either.

I was thinking that Meili’s mom and Ge’s dad had no relationship with each other as said when Meili’s mom was in the hospital bed and Ge’s mom came in being a bitch to her. Ge’s dad and Meili’s dad were close. So when Meili’s dad died Ge’s dad took care of Meili and his mom. I don’t think Meili’s mom stole Ge’s husband away. What do guys think ?
