Wtf there are so many mysteries. Yeonwoo couldn’t have given Sejun a phone call in those 7 years? So is the dad just walking around free after doing all that shit?

    Chibi April 17, 2024 3:50 pm

Yeah, also I don't understand how the dad thinks it's ok to basically make his sons try to kill themselves xD

I know he’s the progenitor of all vampires or whatever, but I just can’t take him seriously in those bell bottoms

Comically performative shirtlessness. I don’t know what it is, but straight romance depictions of shirtless hot guys always seems random, disjointed, and performative. Why are you shirtless at this place/moment etc.. (fanservice obviously) when it makes no sense whatsoever. And somehow nobody questions it other than severe blushing/swooning. However, in most gay romance stories, the shirtlessness is woven into the story (pun intended) in a way that it actually makes sense (swimming, getting changed, working out, checking injury, etc..,) and when someone is shirtless for no reason, the other characters have a normal wtf of puzzled reaction. In straight romance it just feels awkward and out of place (no matter how hot the guy is, or is supposed to be)

It’s always so ridiculous to me when a character (in a clear state of mind) sleeps with their love interest who they haven’t even confessed to while they’re drunk (consent wtf) and/or going through a serious emotional/personal crisis (way to take advantage of a vulnerable person), then get offended, shocked, and/or hurt when said love interest has a negative reaction the next day. Wtf did you think was going to happen?! This person was not dating you, there was no confession of affection then or before, and there are various personal/work complications. Mixed feelings, regrets, and anger make far more sense than that person randomly deciding to date you after that

Something that never makes sense to me in these stories is that it never occurs to any of the characters to call 911 or contact the police, or even the media if there’s enough warning. I get that that the bad guy usually has xyz connections, money, and influence, but you can only sweep so much under the rug if there are too many witnesses. Your lover is about to be brutally murdered by dozens of thugs but it doesn’t occur to you to call 911? Your lover’s father is attempting to execute you, but you don’t contact law enforcement because reasons? Other than some vague allusions of wealth, connections to law enforcement, etc… they never actually establish a legitimate or compelling reason that no matter how crazy or threatening things get, it doesn’t occur to a single character to call the cops at any point. It ends up feeling like a nonsensical plot forcer to artificially generate more drama and trauma. It can be a really terrifying and compelling development when done right and developed over time, but very few comics actually put in the time and thought to execute it properly

Ok I get that Rosephine is kind of annoying, but that was a major dick move on Dionel’s part! He led her on for an entire year, didn’t correct any rumors/assumptions around him, and let her go crazy without clarifying their relationship. He basically used her as an emotional replacement for Daisey and got her hopes up, all while allowing rumors of her engagement to spread so far that literally everyone has heard about them. Not a good look. Also, he needs to retire the expectation that Daisey will be patiently waiting in the forest just twiddling her thumbs and waiting for him to get his shit together and retrieve her. He’s probably going to a feel betrayed when she’s not exactly where he left her, but he’s out of his mind if he expects her to put her life on his hold for years on end until he’s ready to bring her out of the wilderness

    Nikki March 22, 2024 5:56 am

Ok! Thank goodness I found someone who thinks the same.

    Witchery March 22, 2024 5:59 am

Yeah what he did to Rosephine was brutal. He couldn’t be bothered to go through the trouble of rejecting her or telling her he wasn’t interesting, so she made some logical conclusions and acted on them. And he was ice cold to the end, “I never considered you someone that I would be with”. Wtf is that sociopath zero empathy shit!?

    BlackNeko March 22, 2024 8:03 pm

Ikr like bro wth just because she looks like Daisy you gave her expectations for a whole year then you just toss her aside. Nah that’s a really a trash move. I feel sorry for the girl because it wasn’t only her who has high expectations but also her family. Now she will feel guilty for letting out the expectations of her family and also she will have trust issues after.

Oh my god you’re so right! Dionel is the asshole ex who casually destroyed her life after she worked so hard to live up to the title of crown princess, only to replace her with a similar looking unqualified girl from the middle of nowhere. She needs to find a better man

Witchery March 21, 2024 3:30 pm

It’s crazy how many people think Rein is in the wrong here. She found out the man she trusted arranged to murder her closest friend. She confirmed this by combining multiple sources of information. Not only did he kill her friend, but he supported her through all of her guilt and trauma from it, all while knowing it was a result of his plans.

    Lux March 21, 2024 7:39 pm

She wasn’t in the wrong before. Yeah she could’ve communicated with will, but she abused her child because it looked like him. She’s dead wrong. A conversation could’ve been had.

    Witchery March 21, 2024 10:39 pm

Um I’m assuming that’s a spoiler, but I’m on chapter 69, and from where things stand here, she’s not in the wrong. Obviously I can’t account for what she does later since I haven’t read that far.

    Witchery March 22, 2024 12:22 am

Obviously child abuse in any form is never acceptable. I just finished chapter 70. She wanted to give him a chance. She watched his reaction to seeing Dietrich again and was planning to let him in if he had any type of positive (possibly even neutral) reaction. Instead, his first reaction was to go for his sword. Thats why he wasn’t allowed to meet her. To an innocent person, Dietrich’s return should have been a miracle, or at least a happy occasion whether they generally got along or not. His reaction confirmed everything she suspected.

She keeps assuming and hallucinating problems, and goes apeshit the second anything doesn’t go her way. Who would want to be friends with the woman who stole their fiancée in such a manner that they could have died from a spell because of it? Callis definitely has lingering feelings, but what can you expect when they went from borderline emotional affair/inappropriate flirting straight to married. It’s not like they had a particularly strong foundation. Callis wasn’t exactly specific, but it sounded like he meant that he would raise the child as his no matter what, because it was Lina’s child. She’s just too jealous and insecure to comprehend it. And wtf is the absurdity with the remarriage request?! I found her word choice very telling. She brought up that Seria should divorce Rouche before marrying her. Polygamy isn’t a thing here, so why was that her first thought? Because she doesn’t actually care about having Seria take responsibility or creating a loving/complete home for the child. She wants an opportunity to bag Rouche once he’s technically single. She hates Seria with a passion and wants her to be miserable, so there’s no way Lina would actually want to live with her. I think these developments really show how duplicitous and opportunistic she is. Her relationship with Callis was built on shallow foundations, and went downhill, but even before that, when she saw how powerful, skilled, and respected Rouche was (and Seria being happy with him), she got jealous and thought that she had “picked the wrong man”. This is before Callis started wavering. Lina can’t endure the idea of her “rival” being happy or successful and she will actively sabotage things and disrupt her own life to accomplish that and maintain her “superiority”. I seriously hope that baby is Callis’ and not Rouche or Serbia’s because if it isn’t, things are about to get messy af

Ok but why are their wedding suits yellow!?!? I love this story and it’s ending so much, but it’s just bugging me. They’re both so gorgeous, but they picked one of the least flattering colors. Neither of them ever wear that color throughout the series. I’m wondering if author may be using the yellow to symbolize current and future happiness, but who knows. Seriously though, I would love a 40 chapter extension of just their daily lives. So sad that it’s ending
