I have followed this webtoon intermitently, and I can't help but be curious. Has it been explained at any chapter why Rose abandoned his children? from her point of view I mean, and has she tried to justify herself to them?.

in the vol 2 chap 3 they talk about some things we haven't seen. Like the scen in which they are disguised, or the kiss scene.
I have seen the raws and indeed there are some parts being omitted here.
Volume 1 has 5 chapters and an extra.

The manga has just caught up anime wise but the manga is full of details not in the anime. So you can read if you want :)

True but there are still details in the manga that aren't in the anime.
It seems the alchemists have a way of stealing the otherworlders' mana, either that or they are simply interfering with it. Either way I hope they don't hit him too hard...
I liked the story and the art a lot, but while the first half seemed like it would be a seinen at the end the "a place where people can smile" twist ruined the mood for me...
While it won't be as gory as a seinen would be it still promises to be a very good manga.
Umm... Is it me or is this author following the game of thrones route? I can already see the keijoku kingdom ( cold and harsh) falling to the rich empire, and the young girl, with short hair is obsessed witj revenge. We have already seen a mad psycho king... I forsee dragons and direwolves in the future...
