The bio dad has such a tunnel vision in making sure everyone know, including the MC, that he is MC's dad and has this unfounded confidence that eventually things will go his way. He's becoming so reckless to the point that he doesn't even understand that he's putting her own daughter's life in danger although he is very much aware of how evil the mistress can be. It's just so difficult to root for him because he just doesn't seem to use his head.

That emperor already knew long before he found MC that the empress was evil but the best thing he could do to protect her was to declare to the world that MC was alive and hoped that the empress won't do anything because of the public????! Like did he not think the other ways the empress can fuvk your kid even with all eyes on her? You even knew she had something to do with your kid's "death"but could not provide evidence, so what makes you think that just showing her to the crowd she would 'blend' among them and be out of the empress' reach????
