I like how it's realistic enough not to enter a cliché webtoon with a heroic MC in high school. I mean, yeah she is reckless as hell, but it's a mindset that fits teenager's mentality. Especially if they discover they have superpowers overnight.
And don't forget she seems to have very little emotions. She is pictured as a something akin to a sociopath. The fact she is unbothered by killing people is "normal" in a sense.
Anyway, it's just 10 chapters and I feel like there have been like 40?! I'm super hyped!

I wanna punch Matthias too. I've also read the novel and know what's bound to happen. Their relastionship is pretty messed up, indeed, but that's how it is. Stories are not always made to have a fluffy, perfect good ending with a plot in favor of the MC.
I hate Layla's bad choices and I hate Matthias for making her choose them. It still never gonna end as we'd like, so either you go read less psychological sensitive stuff or you bear with it without insulting the author... Should be easy, right?
IKR! The story is so well written! The characters are written very well like you can tell author has so much knowledge in various topics. Ppl seemed to forget that different type of characters exists such as ruthless ml or ml who killed fl etc and ofc me saying that doesn’t mean I support harassment and SA which some ppl might think I do lol. I luv well written stories so much! This story is so realistic and very human like.

Yes! I wish ppl could understand our opinions. Theyre truly missing out on many well written stories. They seem to not agree with the fact that characters have flaws as well T-T…if they never had some they would never be humans.
Wish they could consider your advice and utilize it but unfortunately they won’t. They crawl back here every week to regurgitate their disdains instead of just reading something else according to their liking. Lots of webtoons on here I don’t like but I never stress myself every update in the comments complaining, I just avoid it.
Also they forgot the story is true to its settings. I don’t condone the behaviour but that how it was in that era.
