I just want to make sure but in this page, did it implied that they tried to make a baby but it failed or maybe a miscarriage?

agree, yes this manga does need a few rereading. even about utou's feelings, i'd been confused on whether he's just being extremely caring for sumi because sumi's his subordinate or he's just overlapping him with miyabi. but neither is correct, he actually knows that he's developing feelings for sumi but he holds himself back and keeps it in the superior-subordinate zone. aaah i like this manga so much and the complexity it has.
yes but now the confusion is cleared out in the recent chapter. now we can see clearer how important sumi is for utou to the point that utou still cares for his well-being even after sumi is bonded with someone proper like shiratori. when utou gave that reaction upon sumi's confrontation about miyabi, it could be easily misinterpreted as him not getting over miyabi. however, we already got the answer to that in this chapter. utou pointed out that sumi was prodding at his faults. utou has always been tormented by his inner conflicts as a beta, and that caused him to always hold back from properly reaching out to those that he loves. sure he was a coward, and the way he helped sumi with his heat was as if all omegas needed to be treated like miyabi does (no wonder sumi thought he was overlapped with miyabi). but there's one thing that utou did for sumi that he never did for miyabi: standing up against hio for him. he loves sumi and wants to be the one to make him happy, but he's avoiding his feelings for sumi and acts as if he's just concerned for sumi as his subordinate. thats all because of his insecurity. and to be told that in the face by the person he loves hurt him. and this isnt the first time that his self esteem is brought down by the person he treasures.
Is there more chapters or a seperate manga for chapter 9? I need more
