when doyun asked why he wanted to smoke so badly whe he doesnt smoke, wooyeon asked how he knows, doyun says he knows because he never seen him light it when he was with his friends. Wooyeon only pretends because he was with his friends to fit in.
doyun then asked when he started "smoking". and wooyeon answered, doyun says not to come with him smoking. wooyeon pouts. saying when doyun smokes, he looks really cool. doyun emphasize, "do not smoke because of me" so wooyeon understands to never smoke or pretend to ever again
also!! when he asked what kind of prize he wants, after wooyeon pouted saying he aint a kid, while rejecting the chocolate offer, doyun says he can choose what he wants. wooyeon asked "i can have anything?" and doyun covers his cigarette box saying "not cigarrettes.." xD
wooyeon would ask for him to drink with him (alcohol) and doyeon also rejects that cuz he knows he doesnt actually enjoy it. so he offers the movies to the cinema, cuz he knows he never went to one. SLY FOX!!!
not to mention, when the smoking part, doyun was actually conflicted in giving wooyeon a try in smoking. he knows he's a good boy :')))

Can someone explain to me this guideverse..? is this eye condition thing a common thing in these verses? and what is actually going on with MC's previous esper and the current group...? things just dont make sense to me at all TAT
Espers are the ones with cool powers but as they use their powers, toxicity builds up. Enough toxicity and they get close to rampaging. The usual signs are change in eye color(usually golden) and disturbing energy/aura. When they rampage, their powers get out of control and/or their bodies can't handle the surging energy and they die. Guides help get rid of that negative energy and toxins. I think of them like batteries that help espers recharge.
MC's previous esper used up too much of their power without guiding and died. The current group are a s-class group pretending to be c-class individuals to achieve a certain goal: open and conquer the SS class dungeon.
