I'm totally against dubious consent. The seme should be called out and hated for what he did with someone who was drunk. . But what's astonishing to me is that the same people who'd say ''Oh! What I love is an honest, slutty uke who knows what he want and that's no strings attached. You go boy!!", are ready to hate on the seme for being a 'fuckboy'. Really? I'd understand if he's trash because he went on with a dub-con, but no he's trash because he's a fboy? Isn't that just as much slut shaming as it is for any uke who sleeps around? And it's not like only the ukes whose seme's are fboys are shown as innocent virgins, many semes in stories with promiscuous ukes are also shown as innocent virgins (just that they are tops, so the bias about how pitiful they are is already taken away, lol) So, why the double standard? I've seen this recently, when it's the uke who's freely, willingly promiscuous, people support him and even cheer him onfor making choices but if it's the seme, just because he's arrogant about it, he's not even harming anyone or forcing them, even when he too is giving them a choice and making his own, he's treated as the ultimate "ou! Men are all trash like that". And no one would give any counter argument to those comments as in saying, "well, his life his choice. Or, You go boy!!. Bruh.
Well, I must clarify that I'm always against tops (promiscuous or not) who treat good, nice people (uke's) in a trashy way. But I'm also equally against someone who's a bottom but is doing the same. Just because someone has a sexual position of a top, it doesn't mean they don't feel hurt or are a 'macho' and should take anything. So many people who read yaoi want things like 'men can cry too' to be normalised but it seems like many of them only feel so for a bottom mc and not a top, who is only as much a man as the former.
Ok I'm not trying to fight with anyone, just stating some opinions that I gathered after reading the recent trends of bls.

Bad moments but still 100X better than Erito Ω Wa Yoru ni Oborete. Cheating is bad, really bad but this guy really didn't want to do it, you can feel it. He's decisive. That's why he went on with the surgery so quickly. Atleast we know he's fighting to be with the beta. He's actually communicating with his love and not keeping the beta's feelings secondary to his and the alpha's "suffering". While the other story....Oh well.... It was just endless pain and cuckery for the poor beta. Also he was such a gentle soul and had to witness the heartbreak of watching the omega choose the alpha n number of times right in front of him. He provided support and relief to the omega but once the alpha appeared the poor guy was just discarded to the side and treated coldly. Felt so bad watching him beg. And the omega might've love him as he claimed but it wasn't apparent at all as he seemed to have more time and interest in the backstory and problems of his destined alpha which he actively helped in solving rather than what the beta was going through. Basically whether or not he would stay with alpha, he had totally given up on any potential relationship with the beta though he kept giving mixed signals and let him in whenever the alpha was away. I really suffered reading that so sorry for the ranting.
I understand it's bad but how in the world can it have a lower rating than Erito Ω Wa Yoru ni Oborete? That omega didn't even fight for the relationship, but oh wait.... probably because they weren't official there. Still the beta there(fuji, was it?)suffered so much more mannn. Go downrate that then...
