I know this is the official translation but is it totally accurate coz
Series of events from chapter 4 - new years
1. Both meet their exes. Soma whines to wataru how he's madly in love with his ex. Wataru is disappointed. And UNTIL NOW, we haven't seen Soma asking wataru out even once, neither has wataru replied "I can't yet".
2. Time passes and after a job hunt celebratory drinking party, Soma finally asks "let's be together" as in asks him out, the FIRST TIME here and it seems that wataru agrees but not before Soma admitting that he isn't fully over the ex but still.
Now, this scene is obviously taking place way after the new year.
3. In chapter 6, a flashback to new year is revealed ( ch 4 ) and Yoshida tells wataru that Soma said - "I have someone I love too but they can't be with me yet coz I gave a half assed answer but the moment I asked them(wataru) out, I was completely over you.".
What?
How?
When did he ask wataru out again? In chapter 5 right, after new year? So how is he saying he's already asked him out before new year and is telling this to Yoshida on the new year itself? And in none of the chapters did we see Wataru ever telling Soma that he can't be with him coz of his half ass answers. Infact wataru is silently waiting for Soma which ends in ch 5 finally when they start dating.
Also, just after this conversation with Yoshida, he goes to Wataru and literally blurts put " I'm madly in love with my ex". But but....you were just with your ex and you told him you're already over him??? Wtf ?
I know it's not a big deal, lol it's just a manga but I'm being so compulsive. I can't stand it. I feel like Soma went into the past before new year to confess beforehand+ got over his ex beforehand but then magically fell madly in love with his ex again on new year just so he could whine about it to wataru.
What he told his ex and what he told wataru the same day (new yr) are completely different things.
haha I'm gonna kms, I'm so confused but NO ONE is talking about this and now I think I'm the only wierd one glitching -

Here's what I think he might've said in ch 6
"There's someone I love too, but I gave them half assed answers so I can't be with them just yet.
The moment I ask them out would be when I totally forget about you/move on from you".
But maybe I'm wrong coz how can the officials be inaccurate? But then it just isn't making sense to me. Ughh. I gonna stop now.

Okay nothing against people who're enjoying this, I am too but I just started reading and couldn't help but wonder why people are calling someone who forced an innocent guy to pay a debt that wasn't even his by whoring himself out, a "power" bottom? He's just like any other asshole ml who sexually assaults the bottom and treat them like animals, in exchange of debt payment that isn't even theirs( he might have a "past" n "reasons" but so do those trashy MLs lmao- that never saves them from the thrashing by the readers). Just because it's a bottom here? He literally triggered his trauma too. He drugs him, has him abducted, sexually and physically abuses him and keeps him chained worse than an animal. I don't see any people addressing that or bashing him for that. It seems like he's being praised and hailed as "dom uke". Why this double standard? If it was consensual from the start and not abusive like this, I would've said the same. He's trash, especially in the beginning. And later..... Well, let me finish it first.
Isn't he like Jaekyung? Give me your debt, now you're mine to treat like shit! Also Like that guy from terminus/final stop?
Again, nice story but I was just really curious coz after reading like 10-15 chapters, I went to pg 100 of comments and I was expecting but didn't see even one reaction on the obvious soliciting sex/human trafficking/abuse going on n part of me felt like it was because he isn't a 'poor n helpless bottom'. People are quick to call out trashy tops, and rightly so, but I wonder if there's a bias here. ( Or maybe there were comments about it on pg 200, but there's no option to go to page 200 haha)(โโฆโ )

Haha..indeed, I see then. Also, a few people might not want to be reminded of that time, hence a couple dislikes ig haha. But hey I just stated it as it is. Facts. I'll end up babying the baby too surely, understandably.
About being fickle, definitely. But I still think that most people just have a bias and soft corners for the main character (mostly a bottom) which isn't hard to understand but not something I always like (especially if it reeks of double standards haha).
Now let me read this quickly, so I can coo the baby too.
Hey are you really gonna make him clean your house in exchange for letting him stay there. The uke is really mean hah. Also, clean your own bathtub, pick your cigarette yourself and do your own chores damn hell. Also the seme is such a simp. I don't particularly hate the uke, neither do I think he gave into his ex. He was fine there. The only thing that's icky is how he keeps treating the seme like his subordinate even outside work. At home. He's like ordering him around all the time and not always in an endearing way...or as a joke.... he's like do this, bring that, I want a bath, I'm in a bad mood. Bla bla bla. And the seme despite being younger keeps looking after him. I get that the seme gave in coz he wanted the uke to not be affected by the negative environment outside but Idk, even if his feelings for the seme ain't deep enough..that's fine, but he still needs to respect the seme as a human being and as someone who keeps looking after him.
