Hate it when they're chasing the love interest while sleeping around. People easily call it out when MLs continue to fuck others once they've already started talking to the mc i.e. their love interest. And it's not like he got rejected or st he didn't even confess, he's going about it on a toxic way wanting the ml to get fed up and hurt by watching him have orgies. It's icky both ways.
It can be icky both ways but both ways have the right to do whatever they want. Both are single, and realistically no one should stupidly “save themself” for their crush. While knowing they likely won’t end up with their crush. The only one who’s keeping anything is the one who has feelings, and they decide what to do with them. In a way he technically IS rejecting him by pushing him away several times, it’s obvious such reactions would dishearten him.
In a way, it’s a sort of comfort for the person who has one-sided feelings. They keep getting hurt by their crush, thus they keep their mind and body distracted to prevent being all sad about it. Idk why anyone should feel upset for the feelings of the person who’s rejecting/pushing away. It’s the rejecter’s fault for not taking the chance to be with the other party when they were open with them. Why should the rejected, cater to them?
He can sleep around all he wants. He shouldn't care about the ml and be indifferent to him since he already got rejected but that's not it. He isn't just exercising his right to freely have sex but is deliberately making a show of it in front of the ml and pulling him in the act at times to humiliate him. He himself said that he'll drag him down. So I don't know how you interpreted what I said but my point was that 1.when MLs chase the mc's in other stories and continue to sleep around, they're hated and 2. I never said I wanted him to "save himself". Like you said if he really had taken the rejection decently and gotten over the ml then it's good. And then, I would understand him not caring if he hurts the ml but the fact is that he's deliberately doing things to hurt him while he's still very much in love and "chasing". That's why I called it toxic coz his thoughts are clashing and he's taking advantage of his position coz he can, coz he can't accept that the ML is free to reject him. We all can see that when he insists the ml be present around him at all times, including the orgies, it's not just about security. If he doesn't accept his proposal (which he hasn't even made yet),the mc wants not just himself but both of them to fall into abyss.

My point only talks about the very first sentence you made in your initial comment, just saying my own thoughts of how I view someone sleeping around despite having a crush on someone. I just didn’t agree with that part where it sounds as if anyone should feel the need to feel bad for the crush just cause the person decides to not stick to just the crush
Also to add on, I personally don’t call out or hate on MLs who do that as well. As I believe anyone is free to see whoever they want as long as they’re single. A crush is nothing especially when it’s unrequited anyways or the crush insists on not dating anyways
Ah, also I wonder, even technically ,when did he even "reject" the mc? Coz as far as we know the things that mc has done to "court him" are - made him his knight ( so he's now duty bound), tempted him(?), goaded, insulted, provoked him and kissed him without much consent while having sex with others. Is that his idea of indirect confession? So, how was the ml supposed to react like to that? Get all happy and say, "yeah, I get it my lord, I like you too. May I join you guys?" I mean if someone said that the person in front of you who constantly does all this and never even treats you well is actually crushing on you and it's his way of "asking out", wouldn't that be bewildering !
