Back to Deku- does he have a better understanding of One for All than Allmight? Deku can use the actual quirks of the other hosts whereas Allmight could only use the combined power. Or is it that because Deku can't use 100% of the combined power from the beginning like Allmight, he and One for All had to adapt (at this point One for All seems to have some will, seeing as it refused to be reabsorbed by All for One.) It’s why I don’t blame him for not telling Lucia everything. There’s still some portions to his family background that I’ve noticed people haven’t shared in their spoiler comments yet (or I just haven’t seen them), but ultimately, I think his unwillingness to tell her everything is understandable. He’s deeply ashamed of his origins and the dark secrets that his family history holds. All he wants is to be the only one with the burden of that knowledge and to make sure no one else is harmed by it.

Never said it wouldn’t be. His choice to not share it definitely complicates matters for the two of them, but from an emotional/mental standpoint it’s understandable why he doesn’t want to.
