Ok so since Iz isn’t sure about her brother, if he is friend or foe, but my prediction is, next chapter, Cesar saying how pitiful and sad his sister is and make himself out to be the doting brother will start up Iz’s suspicions.

He was right either they have a relationship so close, that is forged in shared pain and trauma… or, she’s hiding again, acting… and what kind of doting brother doesn’t do something for his abused sister! And I think that point will save Cesar from being a full suspect without proof, because Iz will be reminded of his own sister and how he didn’t protect her or even know she needed it. He’ll probably convince himself that Ruby is hiding from her brother too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ but our Iz is smart and I can’t wait for him to figure it out and kill Cesar for what he did to Ruby…

Like politically, in the story, what can Iz do without starting a war?

I think it’s the pacing, it’s odd, like each chapter is being dragged out, the moment he left the town he was in charge of, each chapter became less full. Like the author got lazy and let the artist stunt for a bit, each chapter ends so quickly!
Like really if it maintained the flow of earlier chapters, the hunting scenes would’ve been 2/3 chapters at most, but it’s been like 6! The settings should change with each chapter at least since there isn’t much story but we spent 3 chapters in this frozen mountain alone. So it’s getting jarring and all the unnecessary art focusing on the girl when one shot is Enogh, she’s one note, we don’t need to see her blush and cringe 3 different times in one scene smh.
I like this arch I think it’s a necessary part of his development, I want to see him create allies out of this tribe. But it’s dragging for no reason, almost like the author struggled with coming up with actual events for this arch so they decided to drag out the little it does have. I think that’s why the quality feels like it’s dipped because of this specific arch. In a movie this would’ve been a blink of a training montage, cool music and everything loool
My next prediction and I think the only real and legal way to shut Parnell down for good is for the Duchess (her name escapes me) to meet her father and for her father to get involved by declaring her as his daughter, then the contract between the king and Parnell is void because 1 her old name wasn’t her real name so that girl doesn’t exist. And 2 the king nor her uncle(fake father) doesn’t have the right to marry her off without her of her real fathers permission so that marriage is void and illegal. It’s similar to the argument Parnell is trying to make, he’s saying the divorce can’t happen without his permission and his permission was falsified so her new marriage is null, no sir Your marriage is null because you had the wrong name and the wrong permissions too! Bleh! They cancel each other dangit, (︶︿︶)＝凸 I hope that happens, because I hate that Parnell is legally right we need to legally discredit his claims!

i was also thinking about this like after re reading this i was thinking, if galahand's out of the question then tia can be the matriarch but she has the prince so second thought she can be the empress but then i remember shannet, she might be the perfect candidate but tia might refuse and fight her way if she should be the empress or a matriarch cuz her goal was to become a matriarch in the first place so idk but i can see shannet being the matriarch so all goods
Yh I had that thought to because that was the goal and the reason Granddad doesn’t want her to get too close in a marital contract with the prince is because he sees her as his perfect heir and I’m sure after seeing his son fail so epically he’s gonna want to hold out till she’s older, which in a sense she can be both with a bit of angst, if shannet shows how competent she can be, then the grandad can give her more control while they both train tia with the ide of her taking over, so when she’s 18 she can fully take over with her aunt supporting her if the grandad dies, so essentially she’s doing it full time while she starts the whole throne was romance nonsense with the prince, then he can make a romantic gesture saying she won’t lose her family’s power if they marry, and that the Lombardi keep their neutrality because she has her own companies and power she doesn’t need the family name to be empress, and she can remember that the reason she wanted to be matriarch was to save her family’s name and reputation. Once she realises she’s done that and that she can do more for the rest of the kingdom as well as her family as the empress… badabing badaboom! We got the best of both!
