I need angsty groveling bad!

Maybe Dan will avoid him, or maybe he will answer and say what you said (that he's not fit for the position) but will not disclose to Jaekyung where he is. I think part of the chasing arc is Jaekyung having to locate Dan and then he will start the hunt...
