I really like this webtoon and I think the main thing that hits me is how relatable all these characters are. It isn't just the main characters, but all the side characters. They get caught up in their emotions, they have changes of heart. Nobody is relegated to be a 2D character categorized as a "villain" or a "hero". Many of the plot points are not driven by "evil" but rather selfishness and good intentions. And the depictions of relationships!! - there is no relationship that is "easy". The author is able to capture these tiny grievances and hang ups. And throughout the author is able to capture all of the emotions that *aren't* said. Okay - I'll stop fangirling. But this is great.
From reading ahead (c13) but not using a dictionary all the time - so take that as a grain of salt... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Emperor used to be a dragon. Like the MC, he was trusting and lonely. A human approached him and slowly robbed him of everything but the dragon gave it up willingly - kind of like the giving tree. When the dragon had finally recovered and went to visit the human, he found out what the human had done. He had been used for profit. Dragon got so mad that he went on a killing spree. He ended up killing a child beloved by god and god punished him by making him a human.
