She is right beside the king and gets intel (propably?) as to where he is goin. and even so he could never go very far. but the fl also can`t go far, because the empress needs her power.
also he had to marrry the empress for her political strenght so she also brings/has a lot of power.
besides he was told by supposedly trusted people that he has to look for a boy. So he would request to see all the boys when he visits an orphanage

So I hae what happened to her in the first life but her father was propably manipulated by magic or something.
