I know everyone is tired of the recycled Stockholm syndrome route, trust me, so am I. But I believe comics that deal with such serious issues should look at all possible situations. I've read comics where the victim falls for the stalker and succumbs. Read ones where the victim kills the stalker, whether they end up liking them or not. But I have never read a webtoon in which the stalker themself initially has no proper feelings for the mc. There was no obsession past that of a child and their favourite toy. The slow spiral of the stalker into the role of someone trapped in a cage of his own design, along with the mc, the space getting smaller and smaller until they were forced together; it was captivating. I had never considered a situation where the perpetrator became a victim of Stockholm syndrome in a situation within which they walked themselves into. It's a depiction of a scenario that could truly happen in real life, and I'm very happy it was presented to me in a form that allowed me to understand it. A masterpiece
The him now and the him then are not the same person. Depending on circumstances and different events, people change, for better or for worse. That future him fucking sucked ass, but since the past has been changed, that person doesn't exist anymore, which is what the author wants to show. Don't hold a kid accountable for something he technically hasn't done.
He has done it though and that's a scar she will have to live with for the rest of her life. Going by what's happening now I honestly don't think he is the best choice or someone she should be associating with period since it's doing psychological harm to her. When she gets over it if she ever does then fine let's forgive but it's still way too early. He's still a cocky lol asshole I'll be fair and say that now he's trying to change but still let's see how it goes and if he changes that cockiness. At least he doesn't really say anything horrible about her now and plus we don't even know how he will act when that damn chick from the future comes. There's a possibility that he's gonna turn right back into an AHole. For now.though it's a "let's wait and see"
An absolute masterpiece. Not only did the author and artist manage to execute the perfect depiction of the boundless power love and infatuation possess, whether good or evil, it also explores darker themes like desire, lust, vengeance and fear. Many important lessons can be drawn from the pages of this King's story but one thing is clear, no matter how painful: You cannot save everyone, for this world is built on sacrifice.
Our protagonist attempted to go against this simple rule of existence and suffered the consequences until he realised their was only one option. Whilst sacrifices must be made, you can sometimes control what you give up. And as a result he murdered the entirety of his family. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
I read this comic just so I can enjoy the "Kouichi Vs Colossal Schlong: An Impossible Battle" comments afterwards because the level of disbelief isn't decreasing at all the more I read.
