I'm looking for any BL in which the MC is confused about their sexuality but then this other character helps them. It can be shounen ai or yaoi. Something fluffy af with a good narrative like Unripened Expression or something hard like Darling (but without all the forced sex narrative).
It's so hard to find BL mangas/webtoons that are just the right length and have great plot development these days. Some BL mangas are either really short where the plot eventually crumbles at the end or some are really lengthy but the plot just goes round and round.
For example, I really love King's Maker since it has such a plot and character development and all of that in 37 chapters. The author really snapped when she wrote that. On the other hand, stories like Out of Control loop around so much that at the end, it seemed like the author just finished with whatever she had. I definitely appreciate her work but I wish the story had been thought out more.
Author of Kings Maker literally went out to perfect everything. Out of Control was kind of overdramatic and dragging itself way past the finish line. BL stuff is rarely really good. I dropped many stories that were 50+ chapters because no plot or character development happens. Heard of unOrdinary? I read 40 chapters of literally no plot and suddenly at 60 chapters the real plot happens? wtf? It's only HALF WAY completed.
Kings Maker isn't finished, she plans on having 100+ chapters. Just season one is over. Plus, if you read the epilogue and interview, she planned EVERYTHING and made sure everything was perfect. I think it should meet somewhere in the middle.
BL stories with a basic plot shouldn't be super long because it will drag and drag and start to become annoying. Example, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi is being drag just to dragged. There is no excuse for that manga to be continuing--he's so stubborn that he doesn't want to say I love you to a guy he is clearly still in love with.
Can anyone recommend me a BL manga that's shoujo-esque? Like straight up shoujo but with gays. Though there are abundant BL mangas, I feel like they still are laced with sexual undertones. Something that I don't really see that much in shoujo so I want something that's shoujo x gay agenda.

I agree, I feel like BL is over sexualised a lot of the time. Sasaki to miyano is very similar to shoujo and its so cute and pure I can't handle it. Defo recommend.
For that, I guess you should try searching on the shounen ai tag. I’ve read some decent BL storylines but I always forget the titles. Usually, most shounen ai manhwas have a better ‘shoujo’ like storyline compared to mangas.
Can anyone please recommend me shounen ai/yaoi mangas, manhuas, webtoons that have either of the two protagonists really likes the other and the other is completely oblivious to it. I just get a kick out of this type of plot. I mean I definitely dislike cliches but this one cliche makes me feel some type of way

So this uke was raised in a struggling, all-boys family bc I think his mother died or something? Anyway, this uke entered this really expensive school bc the girls were really pretty with their flared skirts and whatnot and the family was in on this so he can find a rich wife. This school however was situated at the top of a hill so he has to bike his way up there every single day. Then there was this seme who was really well-off and handsome so all the girls like him and as a result, the uke despises him. There was also a scene where the seme and a bunch of girls were playing volleyball and the uke was hit in the process.

So there's this student whose dad is the school director. He pretty much gets what he wants bc he's spoiled by his dad but then the school's new nurse comes in and is the only one to stand up to the student and bc of that, the student falls for the nurse.
Also, there was this scene in the story where they have sex in the student's bedroom but the father is carefully monitoring them. However, the student actually gets a kick out of this and provokes his father even more.
The story also has it's own arc for his father where he and his assistant get it on.
