I can’t. I just can’t. 2 volumes in and I cant stand the way the Mangaka is glorifying the Momoi character’s spirit. Manscilinity isn’t about being forceful and lustful!!! Ugh!! The girl who became a boy is a dick in both forms. Sure she has her moments where she is kind, but just because someone is male does not mean their virginity is worthless. Also being in tune with your emotions does not make you feminine it makes you human. Men have just as much right to cry, value their virginity, & be a romantic as any female. Sorry about this rant, but this manga annoys me and I can’t finish it. I gave you a good 13 chapters, but I am done. Ugh!! Someone please help that young boy, because even his own parents prefer that he be a selfish, lustful, emotion-less stereotype of masculinity. I get it in high school their are a lot of hormones flowing through the body, but no boy/man should feel like less of a man, because they have manners, value their virginity, & don’t bulldoze over others to fulfill their passions.
I apologize again for my rant. Those who do like the manga, because it’s funny have a right too. But it rubbed me the wrong way, and I had to comment for any boy out their who feels like less of a man because they don’t fit the stereotype. Be you!! Don’t change yourself to fit the culture. You are a man, & I believe even manlier if you respect yourself & your values!
Seriously... I think we need to acknowledge the fact that sexual relationships are really hard to keep casual. Biologically sex causes the body to release hormones that bond you to another person... causal sex while it looks great on paper usually gets messy just like in this web toon. Welp... let’s see how this turns out
I can see this getting codependent fast... I am so happy that the uke is finding hope to live on, but I just don’t see the seme being able to never let the uke down. If the seme becomes the uke’s all and all I don’t see this ending well when he can’t be there for him.
