I feel so bad for our MC. But, it's for the best, dang it! You have to leave so that he knows he's a piece of shit! He doesn't see your worth. He's in denial of his own feelings and just wants to control you most of the time. It's a toxic type of relationship. But, I know what's coming next and it's making my heart hurt. Grandma, rest in peace.

Possible endings.
1. She only chose one man and left the other one.
2. She chose a different man other than the two.
3. She chose only the one that was left because the other one died or did something stupid that disappointed her.
4. They agreed to stay together, but she will only marry one man while continuing to stay with both men. Additionally, the children will consider both men as their fathers, regardless of who the biological father is. (same ending in "Him Him and Him" )
5. Open ending. They will never tell us and it's up to us to think who she ended up.

And really— the audacity to approach him again after not giving him the right award for his acting. No conscience at all.

Why do you say that? Being appreciated and respected for your skill and competency are humans' most basic emotional needs (Maslow's theory). Awards serve as physical proof, and not granting them due to personal feelings is unfair to those who give their best performance. If I, as the reader, am frustrated, imagine how the artist feels.
