I'm actually surprised that people hate the main character. I actually really like him because he's not a whiner and actually tries to solve the shit situation he is in with the old man. Everyone is saying he reaped what he sowed but honestly I disagree because every time he did an unmoral act he did it to have a future. He needed to pay for his tuition so he got a sugar daddy. He needed someone to start smear campaign on the old man to not be a sex-slave forever so he got someone. All to unburden a bit of the responsibilities his mother has without ruining his image of a good son with his mom so he didn't really have a lot of options. The mother though pisses me off because she started to doubt her son just because he became distant.
