Idk why, but since Daniel appeared in the novel, it feels like the other boys were robbed of mc's attention.Tbh, I don't really want Daniel to be the ml since the beginning, even tho there were "hints" given out through the following chapters since his appearance that he's the ml.
Also, it feels that the chemistry between the mc and ml is very forced, like it just doesn't feel the same way compare to everytime the mc is with the other boys. Whenever she's with others, it just feels different compare to when she's with Daniel, even though their interactions were kinda lowkey or something, you can really tell that her chemistry with them just hits different.
Lastly, the ending feels kinda rushed(?) Especially the climax of the story, where the battle of mc and uncle takes place. Idk if it's just me, but it could have so much potential if the quality given to it was the same with the quality of the early chapters T_T.Maybe the author just wanna get rid of it already idk lol. Or maybe it's the change of translation's fault lol. Like the season 1 translations gave so much justice to the plot, but it became a lil bit "messier" in the season 2.
I'm really sorry for all the Daniel biased out there but the whole vibe of the story drastically changed when he appeared T_T. I was also very disappointed in his looks when he was introduced, because I was expecting much more from him based on the way mc's description of him beforehand his reveal. The 3 other boys have much more charisma than him tbh.
Ps. I was actually rooting for Kain to be the ml when he was revealed T_T. If not, Eugene can also be a better match for mc (they're so precious omg). Like it's the two of them that can really give justice to mc's love interest. I feel so bad for them since ml's appearance, because they were given less exposure unlike when it's just the beginning, they were given a fair share of scenes w/ mc (they got so robbed T_T).
