I'm currently reading the novel version..... as much as interesting the story but the downside is quite a lot too , I just love the philosopher stone and the S****** and L****** in the middle part of story .

I think it's still worth it. But I'm also a person who has read the LN when waiting for season 2. While a lot of people complain about art, I was more upset about missing information. But if you are an art person the art gets better as season 2 continues and the finality is really good leading into season 3 which has consistent good artwork.
