Like ik this is one of the more goofy aimless plots but I find it so entertaining idk I like harems like this in general cuz it's always dumb and fun. Especially since all the characters seem so fun I don't really mind the mangaka making more fun plots like this. Not every plot gotta be meaningful and deep lol. I do see where you’re coming from. This take makes more sense, at first it felt like victim blaming but I get it. The MC does hold a lot of power over ML, he just didn’t know it then. He could’ve gotten the boy therapy, sat down and actually have a one on one, could’ve done anything other than enable his behavior. That part I do agree with, but I also feel like regardless on whether mc made any serious efforts to help him, ml would’ve cracked. It probably wouldn’t be so soon, or as harmful, but it most likely would’ve still happened. At least if the mc intervened at some point he could say he tried, but even if he didn’t, him ‘removing’ the ml from that home and ‘allowing’ him to stay with him, he still tried. This probably isn’t very coherent, I barely woke up 10 minutes ago, so I apologize for that.
